Well guys, crunch time is here...in a week Allegro Theatre Company will finally open their next production, Blackadder Goes Forth. I am a little biased, but it features some of the North East's finest character actors, including Shane Douthie and Reg Carmody. I know it will be an emotional opening night and a little piece of all of us will be doing the show for Andy...but apart from anything else, it's a top show, a slice of biting political commentary and, in places, a poignant portrait of the futility of war.Also opening next week is the world premiere of the new Strange Bedfellows musical in Albury. I hope to be able to catch a performance soon, and I will tell you guys in the blogosphere all about it.
